Has India become pawn of geo strategic politics or General gone xenophobic?

21st century may be termed as time of peace, harmony, economic growth and war against terrorism by the entire world less India. Reasons are quite obvious but off course not highlighted effectively by regional as well as international media. The social system of India is founded on inequality, intolerance, conservative thoughts and religious extremism. In recent past, Indian politicians have falsely driven the nation of 1.2 billion heads into a utopia that they are sooner becoming a super power. Hence, it is just like creating unnecessary hype & wishful wrongly set objectives in all circles of the society. In the process, politicians specially running the state affairs have fallen into the hands of international power brokers who have never been friend to any body other than themselves. They are actually loyal to their economical interests and promoting the agenda of war industry mainly based in USA. Indian leaders are indeed extremely frustrated over increasing hype, militancy and extremism with in its society and armed forces, yet they are sounding more cocky and belligerent towards Pakistan and China as well.

It was not only surprising but also babyish to listen when Indian army chief a few weeks earlier, talked about a limited nuclear war between Pakistan and India. It really kept many in a state of shock and also revealed Indian future design to destabilize the region and off course stabbing the forces who are fighting the war against terrorism. The agenda was clear as India did not want the end to terrorism. The critics, military experts and analysts were discussing about the consequences of this nuclear war which was termed as limited by the Indian General who probably required an immediate briefing about after effects of a nuclear break out between two atomic powers. The famous scientist Albert Einstein said “I know not with what weapons World war III will be fought but I exactly know that war after that will be fought with stones and sticks”. The general did not stop even for a few days and banged the world with another millennium statement saying that India was capable of fighting a two front war with Pakistan and China. It was rightly termed as bizarre by some one in the media as such a uncontrolled statement could end into a conflict which would only bring turmoil in the region and its effects will ultimately bring horrified results for the world .It will not only bring atomic powers in quarrel but also severely damage the world efforts against war against terrorism.

Indian premier always crying for peace seems in no control of its army chief or this all is happening as per his strategy. Situation at the moment is quite complex and role of India has gone really dubious on the chess of world power game. Seeing the situation and increasing intolerance in India, the statement of the General looks quite relevant. Increasing intolerance, militancy and terrorism in Indian army which was unveiled first in incidents like Samjohta express and Malegaon blasts is now evident from the statements of the highest ranks of Indian armed forces. This is probably the strongest indication that extremist elements and their thought process is nourishing vastly in Indian army in particular and Indian society in general. Opening nuclear fronts on two borders of India is really horrifying but every body including free media of India is silent at this critical juncture of time. Actually every one in India is feared from the strength of her extremist elements that are developing to form an organization just parallel to Al Qaeda. Media has recently witnessed the attack of an extremist group on a TV channel and exactly knows that this conservative mind set with religious faith   will very soon go out of the hands of state apparatus. The statements of the army chief are warranting a future which will only give blood and poverty to India and the region. World must take notice of such hot air and a diplomatic pressure must be built on a country which is responsible of 1.2 billion heads.

At the moment, Indian army is under going enormous pressures and discipline issues. Extremists groups have creped into the ranks of the army and now implementing their bloodiest thought process. With the passage of time, they are building strength and General Deepak  Kapoor has no other option to keep them under control other than giving statements which keep these groups happy. Discipline state of the officers and ranks of Indian army is pitiable as recently about 41 officers were found selling their weapons to terrorists and case against the Lt.Genaral who was indicted in a land scam in Sukhna Cantonment in West Bengal is still pending as general Deepak Kapoor will take decision on his punishment. Reportedly, the corruption money was being sent to extremist elements of Indian army for their activities. On the other hand, security arsenal of Indian atomic installations have gone so week that fires are breaking out quite frequently in atomic installations of India. Fire in Bhabba atomic plant is the recent example and none knows the exact reason but it was a serious security lapse. None knows that why this all is happening? It will be formidable for the world to know some day that this all was actually the activities of extremist elements with in the ranks of Indian army.

Indian army is the largest component of the Indian armed forces. Its primary mission is to  ensure the national security and defense of the Republic of India from external aggression, threats and maintaining peace and security with in its borders .It also conducts humanitarian rescue operations during natural calamities and other disturbances. But unfortunately, officers like Col Prohat were found in killing and creating humanitarian crisis and now the chief is himself trying to threat its own borders on grounds unknown to anyone and probably to himself as well.  

Pakistan army in its response has termed the statement of Indian General as jingoistic and it is rightly so. As per a spokesman, such statements like one Indian General gave, actually betrayed   hostile intents as well as hegemonic and jingoistic mindset that is out of step and proportion with the realities of the times. Pak spokesman further added that no one should underestimate our capabilities and determination to foil any nefarious designs against the security of Pakistan. We are mindful and ready about any threats to security of Pakistan as well as importance of promoting peace in south East Asia.

Analysts, media, civil society and well wishers of the region will  keep discussing the two front war statement of the Indian army Chief (looked inspired from Bal Thackery and  Bollywood ) who left no space for India to clear its position on increasing militancy, extremism and terrorism in so called secular India. However, Indian as well as international media will highlight this or not, remain a million dollar question. If India becomes pawn of international politics, it will not only damage regional peace but also destroy herself in totality. But at the moment, Indian army from its statements looks as being commanded by subalterns and not generals.

Indian military dream

THE latest statement by the Indian Army Chief, General Kapoor, that India could fight a two-front war with Pakistan and China at the same time and end it successfully within 96 hours is highly debateable and contentious. However, it is the mindset behind the statement that has dangerous implications and needs to be given serious consideration by Pakistan.
First, it reiterates India's desire to have a war fighting option within an overarching nuclearised environment. This was the logic behind its ColdStart strategy, where it envisaged commencing a rapid air ground-naval strike through Sindh into Pakistan so that it could capture some territory before the international community stepped in through the UN to prevent Pakistan from initiating a response  perhaps even a nuclear one. Now India has developed the strategy at multiple levels, including limited war. All this is being done to restore the viability of war in a nuclear context especially in the wake of its newly-embarked-upon missile defence programme. By making war a viable option, India is definitely playing a game of nuclear brinkmanship.
Second, this latest exposition of Indian strategy makes it abundantly clear that the threat from India remains and has become even more severe. Therefore, it is not a responsible approach by Pakistan to move substantial forces away from the Eastern border at a time when Indian deployments are increasing along the same front and they are operationalising an offensive strategy.
Third, with this hostile approach, India has made clear its continuing hostility towards Pakistan and its aggressive designs. Under these circumstances, what good will dialogue resumption do. Dialogue simply for the sake of dialogue, while it does no harm, will achieve little in terms of conflict resolution. And this is certainly not the time to make the sort of concessions on trade routes to India that the present government is determined to make.

US-Israeli Terror Plan against Islamic Iran

Over decades since the onset of the Zionist regime inside Palestine, implanted by UK, USA and their western democratic colonialist regimes, Mossad and CIA-SIS have launched joint operations across the world. So much so Mossad has infiltrated the CIA and SIS networks deliberately promoted by the western anti-Islamic rogue states. When Israeli terrorist leader Benjamin Netanyahu snubbed US chief Obama he knew the USA is capable of make Israel non-existent in hours’ time, but he also knew Pentagon-CIA would not dare do that because of the implications for their secret joint operations against Islamic world. Hindu terror India is weighing its terror options to advance its own global goals.

Israel has a hidden plan to divide Palestine into two parts on a permanent basis. To the deadly disappointment of the Zionist regime and Pentagon-CIA nuts, however, Palestine has not been split into two tiny nations of West bank and Gaza strips to remove the notion of Palestine for ever.  Israel and US-led Western Axis of Evils and their nasty media have totally failed in their shabby attempts to make Iran look like enemy of Muslim (Arab) world and USA has doubly miserably failed to make Pakistan fight against Iran by hoisting troubles between them recently with the help of India.  Iran has requested Egypt to successfully mediate for a unity government in Palestine. This has annoyed Israel which thinks none has a right to interfere in Israel’s Palestine affairs and Zionists have every right to kill Palestinians as their slaves.  In July and August, amid growing tensions with Iran , Israel deployed one of three German-built Dolphin-class submarines and two corvettes into the Red Sea in a clear warning to Tehran .

Even as the NATO terror wars are in deadly progress in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan, killing Muslims to pursue their energy and anti-Islamic objectives, the US fascists are also planning a planned strike on Iran, possibly for their own self-destruction- by creating the necessary background for a cause for such an attack, as they did in Afghanistan and Iraq and Pakistan. The Pentagon-CIA �Mossad have come out with a new fresh design of “Osama family in Iran”. Like American terrorists invaded Afghanistan for WMD and Osama, and Iraq for “WMD”, “democracy”, and “regime change”, now the fiction is being cooked up to create a false alert on Osama family with WMD. CIA theory is a son of Osama bin Laden has revealed to CIA that several missing members of Al Qaeda leader's family are now living in a secret compound in Iran.

According to the reports in The Times, uncle Osama bin Laden's closest relatives include one of his wives, six of his children and 11 of his grandchildren, who have been prevented from contacting the outside world while Iran has repeatedly denied that any of the relatives were living in the country. The Time said Omar Osama bin Laden, 29, Osaka’s fourth-eldest son, said he had no idea that his brothers and sisters were still alive until they called him in November. "The Iranian Government did not know what to do with this large group of people that nobody else wanted, so they just kept them safe, Ossman 17, Muhammad 15, Fatima 14, Hams 12, Imam 9, and Bark, 7”. Amazingly, they give offer such minutest details, later on, to offer some justification for an “impending” terror attack on Iran. That is how the western roguish democracies plan their secret terror activities.

It seems to CIA, uncle Bin Laden said that his relatives live as normal a life as possible, cooking meals, watching television and reading. They are allowed out only rarely for shopping trips. As a number of families are being held in the compound some of the older siblings have been able to marry and have their own children. Bin Laden, who had lived with his father in exile in Sudan and Afghanistan but left before the 9/11 attacks, insists: "They are all just innocent victims, just the same as anyone else hurt by the dreadful events of 9/11 and 7/7. These babies and children have never had any education, never hurt a single soul, never trained with any weapons or ever been part of al-Qaeda." Western bluffs are such any one would discount them. There had been speculation that Muhammad was second in command of al-Qaeda and that Saad also instigated and plotted terrorist attacks until he was killed about 18 months ago by an American drone. Osama's relatives, however, said that Muhammad is still living in the compound and that Saad ran away less than a year ago in an attempt to find his mother. USA has plenty of such humorous stories to narrate. Nice details!

Both global state terrorists USA and Israel are ill-focussed on Iran each for its own reasons. Iran has been under repeated US-led illegal sanctions trying to cripple Iranian economy and weaken the nation. Iran denies American claims it wants to build atomic weapons, saying its nuclear programme is for civilian purposes.  A defiant Ahmadinejad who has sworn by his nation and vowed to defend Iran’s legitimate interests at any cost, said Iran would welcome talks "under fair conditions”. If you are saying you are going to impose sanctions, then go and do it."

Western media are aptly known for spreading rumours and threat perceptions and they make lies look real happening. They did it before the US attack on Afghanistan and Iraq and now on Pakistan. They project the Islamic world as a serious threat to western fascism. The Times, which, like many other similar news media ill-focused on Islam and Muslim world, continues to harp on WMD, democracy and regime change and wants US-led NATO terrorist states to invade entire Arab and control the vast resources of energy sources for the use of the Western energy hungry Terror Axis nations, reported last week that it had obtained a document, dating from 2007, describing a four-year plan by Iran to test a nuclear trigger using uranium deuteride. The product can be used as a neutron initiator: the component of a nuclear bomb that triggers an explosion. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has dismissed as a US forgery a document allegedly showing plans by Tehran to test a nuclear bomb trigger.

Ahmadinejad rejected criticism of Iran’s human rights situation and allegations of mass arrests following the elections which returned him to office in June. Western powers unsuccessfully used the opposition leaders in Iran to destabilize Islamic Iran and let NATO enter through doors. Opposition riots killed several Iranians. All such nefarious attempts have been foiled by the people of Iran.  "These things have to do with the judiciary. We have good laws. There is the judge. These people have got lawyers. These are not political questions." He said people in Iran had more freedom than in the US.

An interview of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad offered a rare opportunity to see an Iranian leader being questioned by the US media. But Ahmadinejad's answers gave little indication that his administration is moving towards a more conciliatory position. When asked if there would "be no nuclear weapon in Iran, ever", Ahmadinejad said his view was already known. "You should say something only once. We have said once that we don't want a nuclear bomb. We don't accept it." He said criticism of Iran’s nuclear programme had become "a repetitive and tasteless joke". Iran says its uranium enrichment programme is for purely peaceful purposes, aimed at generating electricity so that it can export more gas and oil. But the US and its allies say it could be used to develop weapons. A senior adviser to US President Obama, David Axelrod, said it was "nonsense" that the US had fabricated the documents as Americans don’t tell lies and they are nuclear truth seekers.

Israel pursues expansionist policy right from the day the Zionist Israel was established in 1948 inside Palestine. Israel tightly controls Jews by employing a perpetual threat perception from “enemies”. In Israel, most men and women do military service. As a result, the public's attitude towards their military is rather familial and criticism against the regime is mostly expressed in private. Gangs of Israeli terror soldiers chose to wave a banner proclaiming that their battalion would not evacuate Jewish settlements. Four years ago more than 7,000 Jewish settlers were removed from Gaza. Now, around half a million Jewish settlers live in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Their settlements are illegal under international law, which views the territory as occupied land. But the Zionist regime says what the Jews do is correct and the world has to accept it as law. The illegal settlers, along with most religious Jews, think that the West Bank is part of the Holy Land “given” to the Jewish people by God. They insist Jews have every right to live there and keep killing the innocent Palestinians to occupy h tier lands. Hence Israel has a detailed expansionist policy, they say, as part of “God’s strategy”. The illegal settlers are being encouraged, publicly, by political outfits and a number of Israeli rabbis.

Israel controls Palestine by unleashing terror over the Palestinians whose life has been deteriorating since Dec-Jan fascist attacks by the Zionist terrorists. By ignoring international outcry, terrorist Israel imposed a more tightened blockade of Palestine after the Islamist Hamas movement won the parliamentary polls and formed government two-and-a-half years ago, but when Israel provoked Fatah to wage war with Hamas, the ruling party seized power. On Dec 25 Christmas day, to make the Pentagon-CIA plus American Chrestians happy, Israeli troops have killed six Palestinians - three in the Gaza Strip and three in the West Bank. The Israeli terror military as usual bluffed three Palestinians suspected of trying to “infiltrate” from Gaza were killed in an air strike near the Erez crossing. Separately, Israeli forces said they killed three men in the West Bank city of Nablus who are suspected of shooting dead a Jewish settler two days ago. It is the largest number of deaths in a day since the Gaza conflict a year ago when the Zionist fascist regime killed thousands of innocent Palestinians, including women, children and old people. Foreign Aid agencies have strongly criticized the international community for failing to help bring an end to Israel's blockade of Gaza.

When Iran requested Egypt to help the Palestinian faction to reunite, Israel got wide and it cannot tolerate any Muslim nation to support the cause of the Palestinians w ho Tel-Aviv considers as its property only to be destroyed. Israel resolutely refuse to dismantle the illegal settlements in Palestine. However, evacuating a large number of West Bank settlements will be key to any eventual peace deal with the Palestinians. Israel's Prime terrorist, Benjamin Netanyahu, who employs, rather forcefully, double-speaks on several issues, has strongly condemned the dissenters. He said the security and existence of Israel depended on its army and that "refusing" soldiers could bring about the destruction of the country. But many soldiers view Jewish settlements as a political, not an existential issue for Israel.

What is intriguing is even President Barack Obama is also unable to contain the Pentagon-CIA-Mossad bluffs and false threat perceptions and save the world from further US-led state terrorisms in the world that could even signal an end to US unipolar concepts once for ever. Perhaps, then, Israel would never be the same terrorist regime. NATO fascism would, on its own, spell disaster to the western powers as well, but the Zionist extra adventure on Islamic Iran, if any, would make that happen quicker.

Blast in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre & WMD

The week ending December, 2009 has again opened many possibilities for the global nuke experts and IAEA to investigate the real troubles of Indian nuke plants. Year 2009 is also leaving number of unresolved questions which regarding Indian nuke safety and security and might not be resolved in 2010 also. On second last day of 2009, a high intensity explosion at a chemical laboratory inside Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) took placed which resulted into the death of two junior scientists, Umang Singh and Partha Bagh. Though Indian authorities claimed that no reactor, radioactivity or radiation was involved in the incident but severely charred bodies of the scientists and totally burnt equipment revealed that something very serious happened inside the plant. It is important to highlight here that BARC was started in 1954, as the Atomic Energy Establishment and apparently conducts the research in Biotechnology and Gama Rays.

The initial investigations regarding incident of BARC is giving three leads to solve the mysterious occurrence. Firstly, Indian scientists might be carrying out some experiment on biological and chemical agents. The experiment failed and chemical reaction caused damaged to the lives of the scientists and the laboratory. According to a world news agency staff working on the plants also heard the blast inside the project. The blast and condition of the death bodies do confirm that India is preparing Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). The preparation of WMD is the desired of Indian top military and political leadership. The intensity on this venture has been multiplied since self predicted Chinese threat on the border is being considered by the Indian leadership.

Second opinion could be that Indian scientists were yet to achieve expertise and hall mark in the nuke field. Their weak knowledge and causal attitude might become the reason of their death. But poor expertise of Indian nuke Programme has also put the lives of Indian and regional masses at stake. In this connection again we can noticed the lapses of security. There are reports that junior Indian scientists were busy in carrying out experiments on preparing some chemical and biological weapons but failed to tackle the situation because of their less experience. It was further reported that they even never have been guided by their senior colleagues. August 27, 2009 interview of senior nuke scientist K Santhanam, with “Times of India” confirms that nuke test at Pokhran II further endorse the weakness of Indian nuke programme. He admitted that the only thermonuclear device tested was a “fizzle”. The incidents of Kaiga, Pockran and now BARC do reflects that Indian nuke plants are real danger to humanity since her scientists are lacking requisite experience in this field.

Third version could be that some member out of nuke staff intentionally carried out some sabotage activities inside the plant with the purpose of killing these two junior members of the team. These two comrades might be having some knowledge of on going Indian nuke proliferation and killed by the Uranium smugglers present on Indian nuke plants. Earlier, too on June 13, 2009 dead body of Indian famous nuke scientist Lokanathan Mahalingam has been found from Kali River. The scientist was working on Kaiga Atomic Power Station since last eight years. Reportedly, he was in possession of highly sensitive information and might be doubted for Indian nuke proliferation. Mahalingam was involved in training apprentices on a replica of the actual reactor.

However the exact cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained and need deliberate efforts to dig out the actual causes of repeated nuke incidents in India. IAEA should send some teams of expertise to inspect the Indian nuke plants since continue occurrences may prove fatal to human life. Indian government should also carry out detail investigations through global experts since some members of the police and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) of the centre could be involved in the series of nuke accidents in India. Indian Prime Minister should not declare BARC incident as mischief and should seriously remove the weaknesses of the safety and security of Indian Nuke programme.

In fact, the incident of BARC need to be thrashed out seriously since India is already heading towards making WMD. So called think tank Bharat Verma, Editor Indian Defence Review has started propagating that China and Pakistan would be attacking India in 2012. Indian scholars on their government directions are creating hype in the masses by design, since they are trying to divert their public attention from poor nuke safety arrangements, the strong ongoing separatist Maoist movement and regional issues like Khalistan, Kashmir, territorial disputes and water conflicts with the regional issue. Thus, we can deduce from the BARC incident that India is preparing for global war and her propaganda campaign against China and Pakistan would be taken as her preemptive action against two allies. Chinese and Pakistan governments are already taking notice of new development in the region. Both the governments have the concern over increasing USA influence in Asia and Indo-USA Nuke Deal. USA Nuke exerts do have serious reservations about the said deal since Indian nuke safety arrangements are very poor. India is already facing the charges of smuggling and theft of enriched uranium.

The world community should force India to open her Nuke Programme for inspection because repeated accidents are serious threat to China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka because of the location of Nuke Plants. IAEA should direct India to remove the prevailing tension in the nuke staffs since the involvement of RAW has created panic in them. In short the detail investigations are required to be carried out at Indian nuke programme, covering the type of weapons being made, arrangement of safety, cause of murder and killing of nuke scientists and staff, reasons of accidents and smuggling and theft of enriched Uranium.

Obama has announced the partition of Pakistan - Webster Tarpley

A former NATO officer claims US Special Forces have conducted secret raids inside Pakistan's border regions. The operations were conducted between 2003 and 2008, but only one was ever made public.

According to reports, troops were looking for high value targets among both the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The one that became widely known in September 2008 was condemned as a provocation by the Pakistani government.
Ethnic groups from Pakistan’s Belugistan province where most of the raids occurred blame the government in Islamabad for allowing these things to happen, said RT LIVE investigative journalist Webster Tarpley.

Saab-2000 plane incorporated in PAF fleet

Strengthening its capability, the Pakistan Air Force  has inducted the sophisticated surveillance aircraft, Saab-2009 in its fleet.
This is the second of four such Airborne Warning and Control System  aircrafts to be included in the PAF's fleet. The first one was inducted earlier this month.
Pakistan is the second country in the region after India to have inducted the state-of-art surveillance aircraft in its air force.
Speaking during a ceremony at the Kamra airbase, Chief of Air Staff Rao Qamar Suleman said the Saab-2009 would enhance PAF's capability to a great extent,
It may be noted that Pakistan had inked an 866 million dollar deal with Sweden for the supply of four Saab-2009 aircrafts.
Sweden, Pakistan on Tuesday became the second country in the region after India to have inducted the sophisticated surveillance aircraft in its air force.

The aircraft is fitted with the latest technology to detect aircraft flying at high and medium altitudes. With state-of-the-art system, it is also capable of detecting objects flying at lower levels over land and sea at extended ranges. The system is also capable of detecting surface targets over sea.

The Erieye system provides 300 degree coverage and has an effective detection range of only 300 km to 350 km. It uses a pulse Doppler radar with a fixed, wedge-shaped antenna.

“By virtue of these features, Pakistan Air Force would be able to boost its operational capability manifold by achieving requisite early warning for efficient and meaningful air defence of its airspace,” an official statement said.

As compared to Pakistan’sAirborne Warning and Control System  aircrafts , the Indian Phalcon system provides tactical surveillance of airborne and surface targets and helps gather signal intelligence. It is also capable of tracking fighter planes, missiles and ground forces from a distance of 400 kilometres and in all weather conditions.

Qamar said four-aircraft deal for Saab-2000 worth $866 million have been signed.

Human Rights Violations in India

From1511 to 1648 when Europe witnessed a prolonged arena of barbarism, religious bigotry and intolerance, culminating into beastly violence, the Treaty of Westphalia was concluded in 1648 in order to maintain the nation-state system whose basic purpose was to honour the dignity of human beings.
Although human rights violations in the world such as torture, genocide and massacre continued after that agreement in wake of various multilateral treaties and conventions, yet India which claims to be the largest democracy, echoing secular sounds in the modern era has been brutally violating human rights both on official and non-official level.
Recently more than 2,700 unmarked graves of the unidentified bodies were uncovered in villages of Indian-held Kashmir near the Line of Control . It is not the new event, in the past three years, the International People’s Tribunal on Human Rights and Justice  has discovered unmarked bodies buried at various places. Last year, discovery of nearly 1000 graves of the unmarked Muslims in the Indian controlled Kashmir was also notable.
Sources have suggested that these graves include bodies of extrajudicial executions committed by the Indian military and paramilitary forces. International human rights groups have called for a probe, remarking that the unmarked graves held bodies of civilians who have disappeared, and Indian security forces killed them through various tactics of torture A police officer pointed out that most of the bodies were of militants.
In the recent past, European Parliament strongly condemned India in connection with human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir.
However, since 1989, Indian military troops have been employing every possible tactic of state terrorism and ethnic cleansing to disturb the majority population of Kashmiris. During and after the latest so-called elections, intermittent curfews, crackdowns and massacre of the innocent Kashmiri people by the Indian security forces keep on going to crush the current non-violent mass uprising of Kashmiris.
The matter of human rights violations is not confined to Kashmir only as it has enveloped whole of India. In fact, there is a co-relationship of the  Hindu Nationalism and Hindu fundamentalism which are the genesis of Hindu terrorism—which has given a greater blow to human rights in India. This ideology has been encouraged by the subsequent governments officially, manifesting itself in several forms such as dominance of Hindu culture, ethnic violence, religious fervour and intolerance of Muslims and Christians.
Although violence against the other communities has been used by Hindu fundamentalists as a normal practice since partition, yet anti-Christian and anti-Muslim bloodshed in the last decade coupled with the dissemination of Hindutva has intensified.
Besides previous genocide of Muslims, more than 2500 Muslims were massacred in 2002 in the BJP ruled Indian state of Gujarat where horrible scenes of arson, mutation and rape were perpetrated by the Hindu extremists against the unarmed Muslims. Regarding that massive genocide, both Human Rights Watch in 2002 and Amnesty International in 2003 charged the “Gujarat state administration” for involvement in “a massive cover-up of the state’s role in the massacres” and indicated numerous police officials—specifically ministers, high officials and leaders of the VHP, BJP and Bajrang Dal as participants in the violence.
Notably, various investigations failed in pointing out the real perpetrators of Hindu terrorism in Gujrat as they were high officials or police officers of the Indian government. Hence, the Supreme Court of India had ordered a fresh probe on March 25, 2008, but the same also remains inconclusive due to concealment of evidence against the culprits who are members of the dominating political parties of the country.
Apart from Gujrat, on September 13, 2008, the communal riots in Uttar Pradesh killed more than 200 Muslims. In one of the most tragic incidents in Assam, Hindu extremists burnt alive six members of a Muslim family.
When the BJP led alliance was firmly in the saddle in 1998, the ideology of Hindutva was encouraged by the government officials. Besides attacks on the Muslims and the Christians entailing their religious establishments, appointment of extremist Hindus in top positions in various institutes and alteration of courses in accordance with the Hindu ideology reflected the intentions of the BJB rulers in various provinces.
In Maharashtra, non-Hindu communities have lived in constant fear and awe since the advent of the fundamentalist party, Shiv Sena whose Chief Bal Thackeray has organised army of hoodlums to beat up any religious minority, openly directing the Hindu extremists to loot and stone any of their shop or house. Silence of the subsequent governments on every challenge of Shiv Sena and lack of serious action against Thackeray’s vandalism have clearly defeated the secular echoes of India which is in fact a terroist state. More alarming point is that Bajrang Dal has also been imparting arms training to its members near Ayodhya where the extremists Hindus want to build Ram Mandir on the site of Babri Masjid which was demolished deliberately in 1992 with the official support.
Notably, a few days ago, a leakage of the Justice Liberation Commisssion of India admitted the BJP’s leadership for the destruction of the Babri Masjid, and over other human rights violations in the Indian-held Kashmir including violence against the Muslim and Christian communities.
It is mentionable that killing and harassment of Christians including attacks on Churches by the Hindu extremists have been continuing intermittently.
Unlike the previous similar tragic events, Christian persecution rose to new heights in the state of Karnataka after the BJP came to power in February 2006. Attacks on Christian holidays became common in the state like other regions. On the Christmas Eve of 2007, Hindutva extremists led a series of violent attacks on Christians and their property in Orissa state’s Kandhamal district, killing six Christians and razing at least 730 houses and 95 churches. In one of the events, in March, 2008, more than 150 intolerant nationalist Hindus stormed two Easter Sunday services and beat at least 16 Christians including two pastors in Bangalore and in Shimoga district as reported by the Global Council of Indian Christians.
Before almost every assault, the mob of the Hindu extremist RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal, armed with bamboo poles, sticks and rods, while beating drums shout slogans in Hindi he “who talks in favour of only Hindus will rule the nation.”
Nevertheless, assaults on Christians and their property have continued by the Hindu mobs in Orissa, Assam, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. Even the year of 2009 witnessed a number of incidents of religious intolerance. In this respect, at least 60 Christians have been assassinated in the recent past by Hindu fundamentalists in the state of Orissa.
Hindu culture, dominated by the RSS, VHP, Shiv Sena and other such fundamentalist parties—provocative utterances of their extremist leaders, propagating Hindutva are bound to result into more violence against the Christians and the Muslims including other minority groups.
Nonetheless, west has broken its prolonged silence when this year, the US Commission on International Religious Freedom has placed India on the watch list owing to its severe discrimination against religious and ethnic minorities. The USCIRF is emphasising President Barack Obama to put pressure on New Delhi for its largely inadequate response to fundamentalist violence against Muslims in Gujarat in 2002 and Christians in Orissa in 2008 2009.
Meanwhile, Fr. Babu Joseph, the spokesman of the Indian Bishops’ Conference said that the decision of the USCIRF “is a clear indication of the growing concern of the international community to the repeated failure of India to take decisive corrective measures to curb religious intolerance.”
It is the right hour that the US dominated international community must take appropriate steps against glaring human rights violations by the Indian security forces and Hindu terrorists. Otherwise, Hindu terrorists may cause World War 111 between the Muslim and Western nations by manipulating the ongoing war on terror.

India’s Poor Nuclear Safety

The tragic nuclear incident at Chernobyl in 1986 had clearly verified that even without using an atomic bomb, this very technology can eliminate hundreds of people through radiation exposure, leaving behind thousands of persons, affected with fatal diseases which also travel from generation to generation. After that major incident, big nuclear powers and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) emphasised the atomic countries for the need of a tight mechanism in order to avoid any catastrophe.
Although responsible nuclear states have adopted strict measures at their nuclear plants so as to save the lives of their employees and the nearby population, yet India’s record of poor nuclear safety has surprised the international community in the era of ongoing nuclear age. In this regard, in the end of November, this year, more than 90 Indian workers suffered radiation due to contamination of drinking water at the Kaiga Atomic Power Station in Karnataka.
In fact, this latest incident took place on the 25th of November, but it was on the 28th that the media got the story when many suffered persons were hospitalised, and it became impossible for New Delhi to conceal the tragedy.
Instead of admitting their faults and to improve the security of their atomic plants, both Indian scientists and high officials hastened to cover the incident in one way or the other. In this respect, some Indian scientists remarked that the affected employees did not use to “go into the actual reactor area, but work around it”, while Director of the Kaiga station, AM Gupta said that these workers had “no exposure to the reactor directly, it was surprising to see them with higher level of radiation.” On the other hand, gravity of situation could be judged from the fact that Indian rulers immediately sent instructions to its officials and scientists to avoid giving any details to the media. In this context, The Nuclear Power Corporation, which runs Kaiga plant, did not reply to the media queries over the nuclear accident. Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada, N S Channappa Gowda, while concealing the facts pointed out that no casualties or injuries were reported. Notably, Indian Atomic Energy Chairman, Anil Kodkar called the mishap at Kaiga an act of sabotage.
The Time of India and some other sources suggest that there “was no official word from the usually secretive nuclear establishment…the employees were in hospital because they experienced a higher level of radiation after drinking water. However, tests confirmed radioactivity in the urine samples.”
Meanwhile, India’s poor nuclear safety can be noted from the statement of Minister of state, Prithviraj Chavan who clarified that there were no video cameras there to catch who did the mischief, further saying that in future “the government would install cameras in all such areas.”  Surprisingly, this statement made it clear that Indian other atomic plants are also without cameras.
Although Indian officials and scientists tried to hide the fatal leakage at the Kaiga plant through many contradictory statements, yet an internal probe by Nuclear Power Corporation indicated possibility of mischief by an insider who had deliberately added some heavy water containing tritium to the drinking water cooler. So it is a most alarming that anyone can cause any mischief at Indian any nuclear facility. This raises more questions regarding the poor safey of Indian all nuclear plants.
Nevertheless, Indian nuclear power installations have not been practising the right safety methods along with rigid security measures. The incident at Kaiga Atomic Power Station is not the first one, Indian past record shows various kinds of security lapses in relation to various nuclear plants and the related sensitive materials.
On July 27, 1991, a similar event took place at the heavy water plant run by the Department of Atomic Energy at Rawatbhata in Rajasthan. Nuclear radiation had affected and injured many labourers there.
Coupled with other events of nuclear theft, smuggling and killing have become a regular feature of Indian atomic plants and facilities.
In July 1998, India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seized eight Kg. of nuclear material from three engineers in Chennai. It was reported that the uranium was stolen from an atomic research center. The case still remains pending. On November 7, 2000, IAEA disclosed that Indian police had seized 57 pounds of uranium and arrested two men for illicit trafficking of radioactive material. IAEA had said that Indian civil nuclear facilities were vulnerable to thefts.
On January 26, 2003, CNN pointed out that Indian company, NEC Engineers Private Ltd. shipped 10 consignments to Iraq, containing highly sensitive equipments entailing titanium vessels and centrifugal pumps.
In 2004, when the issue of international nuclear black market came to surface, Pakistani nuclear scientist, Dr. A.Q. Khan was only blamed by America and Europe for proliferation activities by neglecting the western nationals and especially those of India. While in February, same year, India’s Ambassador to Libya, Dinkar Srivastava revealed that New Delhi was investigating that retired Indian scientists could possibly be engaged in “high technology programs” for financial gains during employment in the Libyan government.
In December 2005, United States imposed sanctions on two Indian firms for selling missile goods and chemical arms material to Iran in violation of India’s commitment to prevent proliferation. In the same year, Indian scientists, Dr. Surendar and Y. S. R Prasad had been blacklisted by Washington due to their involvement in nuclear theft. In December 2006, a container packed with radioactive material had been stolen from an Indian fortified research atomic facility near Mumbai.
Some months ago, death of India’s nuclear scientist, Lokanathan Mahalingam raised new apprehension about the safety of Indian atomic assets. He was missed from the scenario and after a couple of days; his dead body was recovered from the Kali River. Indian police concocted a story that Mahalingam had committed suicide by jumping into the river. It is a big joke to hide some real facts behind his death because wisdom proves that if an educated person decides to commit suicide, he will definitely adopt a soft way to eliminate his life. Notably, Dr. Haleema Saadia disclosed that death of the scientist is a conspiracy—as soon as his dead body was found, within no time; the police had announced that Mahalingam had committed suicide.
Besides, in the recent past, solid evidence has surprised the world regarding the existence of Hindu terrorism which also shows future dangers of Indian proliferation owing to its poor safety. In this respect, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Maharashtra arrested a serving Lt. Col. Srikant Purohit along with some officials who confessed that they were involved in training of the Hindu terrorists, supplying them the military-grade explosive RDX, used in bombings of various Indian cities including Malegaon. The investigation further indicated the confession of Lt. Col. Purohit for the bombing of Samjhota express, while proving close links of the Indian army officials with prominent politicians of BJP, VHP, RSS and Bajrang Dal, who have been pressurizing New Delhi to release the arrested persons. Nevertheless, the enquiry still remains pending. Meanwhile, assassination of Indian Anti-Terrorism Squad Chief Hemant Karkare in Mumbai during terror attacks also endorsed these links.
All these developments prove security lapses in connection with Indian weapons and especially nuclear facilities. In this context, most dangerous aspect is that Hindu fundamentalists, trained by Indian military experts or secret agency RAW could even prepare and obtain Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). Thus they could jeopardise the global peace by using these fatal weapons inside America and Europe so that these developed nations could also point finger at Pakistan because of their ‘stereotypes’ against the Muslims and Islamabad in wake of war on terror.
Nonetheless, it is regrettable that despite India’s poor record of nuclear safety, and violation of various international agreements, and its refusal to sign Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), CTBT and Additional Protocol with the IAEA, the United States which singed a nuclear deal with New Delhi last year has been praising India as a responsible atomic actor.
So the right hour has come that the international community must take notice of the dangers posed by India’s poor nuclear safety.

Indian Intrigue against Pakistan

16th December is the day of tragic memory when Pakistan was dismembered and a new state of Bangladesh was created in 1971 as part of Indian intrigue which still continues. At present, New Delhi has been supporting separatism in Balochistan, Sindh, and insurgency in the Frontier Province in order to further weaken the federation of Pakistan.
India has a long-gone history of many centuries, based upon religious prejudice against the Muslims. In this respect, Indian intelligence agency, RAW which was founded in 1968, has assumed a significant status as invisible actor in formulation of India’s domestic, regional and global policies, particularly directed Pakistan.
Hindus give credit to Indira Gandhi who in the late 1970s gave RAW a new role to suit her Indira Doctrine specifically asking it to undertake covert operations in neighboring countries, especially Pakistan which comprises majority of Muslims. RAW was given a green signal to mobilise all its resources by exploiting political turmoil in East Pakistan in 1971 which this agency had created through its agents who provided Bengalis with arms and ammunition for conducting guerrilla acts against the Pakistani defence forces.
As regards the separation of East Pakistan, Indian RAW had unleashed a well-organized plan of psychological warfare, creation of polarisation among the armed forces, propaganda by false allegations against West Pakistan, creation of differences between the political parties and religious sects of East and West Pakistan, control of media, manipulating linguistic, political and econmic disputes in order to keep maligned the Bengalis against Islamabad.
There is no doubt that one can note political, economic and social disparities almost in every Third World country. India itself contians these disparities on larger scale. In seven states of India, separatist movements are at work. But New Delhi which has not recognized the existence of Pakistan since partition, left no stone unturned in planting and exploiting differences between the people of East and West Pakistan.
RAW has a long history of sinister activities in the East Pakistan, backing secular areas of Hindu minority who had played an important role in motivating Bengali Muslims against West Pakistan. RAW’s well-paid agents had activated themselves in East Pakistan in the 1960’s so as to dismember Pakistan. For this aim, it took the responsibility of funding Mujib-ur-Rehmans’ general elections in 1970 and the members of the Awami Party. It colluded with the pro-Indian persons and had paid full attention in training and  arming the Mukti Bahnis. RAW, playing with the bloodshed of the Muslims, succeded in initiating a civil war in East Pakistan. Meanwhile, India welcomed the refugees from East Pakistan, providing them with every facility to provocate them against West Pakistn.
However, huge quantity of arms started entering East Pakisan along with the guidline of Indian army and RAW. In this connection, Asoka Raina in his book, ‘Inside RAW: The Story of India’s Secret Service’, reveals, “Indian intelligence agencies were involved in erstwhile East Pakistan…its operatives were in touch with Sheikh Mujib as the possible ‘Father’ of a new nation-Bangladesh, who went to Agartala in 1965. The famous Agartala case was unearthed in 1967. In fact, the main purpose of raising RAW in 1968 was to organise covert operations in Bangladesh. Indian army officers and RAW officials used Bengali refugees to set up Mukti Bahini. Using this outfit as a cover, Indian military sneaked deep into East Pakistan. The story of Mukti Bahini and RAW’s role in its creation and training is now well-known.”
Asoka further explained, “Indian sources including journalists have put on record how much RAW had established the network of a separatist movement through ‘cells’ within East Pakistan and military training camps in Indian territory adjoining East Pakistan…carring out acts of sabotage against communication lines so that Indian forces simply marched in at the ‘right’ time. RAW agents provided valuable information as well as acting as an advance guard for conducting unconventional guerrilla acts against the Pakistani defence forces.”
Nevertheless, India had played a key role in the debacle of Dhaka, which culminated in dismemberment of Pakistan. Even at present, Indian RAW which has been implementing Indian hidden agenda against other countries such as China, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan in order to maintain Indian dominace in the region has made Pakistanan—a special target to disintegrate or weaken it.
India has established more than 200 foreign offices and training camps in Afghanistan where RAW’s intelligence officials with the help of Khad are doing their utmost to destabilise Pakistan by sending weapons to the separatist elements in Balochistan and the insurgents of FATA regions. Very young boys including Afghans, training recruits are mostly from Central Asia, bordering Afghanistan. Thus more than 20,000 ideologically motivated terrorists are regularly being infiltrated into troubled spots of Pakistan. They join the Taliban militants to fight against Pakistan’s security forces. These miscreants also conducted a number of suicide attacks and bomb blasts in Pakistan, killing a number of innocent people and personnel of the security forces. In Kurram Agency, RAW’s Afghan agents have also been actively involved in the sectarian conflict. However, their aim is also to create unrest in our country.
It is mentionable that Pakistan’s prime minister, interior minister and foreign minister have repeatedly stated that they have concrete evidence of Indian involvement in the terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s army spokesman, Maj-Gen. Athar Abbas disclosed in wake of the military operation in South Waziristan that huge cache of arms and ammunition of the Indian origin, entering our country from Afghanistan was captured.
A few days ago, two containers loaded with Indian-made weapons were caught in Balochistan after entering into Chaman, bordering Afghanistan.
In this regard, in its editorial on December 7, 2008, The New York Times wrote, “India’s growing investment and intelligence network in Afghanistan is also feeding Islamabad’s insecurity and sense of encirclement”. On September 20, 2009, NATO commander, Gen. McChrystal admitted: “Indian political and economic influence is increasing in Afghanistan including significant development efforts…is likely to exacerbate regional tensions.”
Nonetheless, after the separation of East Pakistan, India is fully backing the Baloh separatists who have been waging a low-level insurgency by destroying gas-pipelines and eliminating Pakistani citizens from other parts of the country including targeted-killings. RAW’s agents are regularly helping them in conducting the subversive acts. Notably, On July 23, 2008, in an interview with the BBC, Brahmdagh Bugti, while replying to a question regarding the acquisition of arms, remarked that they “have the right to accept aid from India.”
In the recent past, by assassinating the Baloch nationalist leaders, Indian elements wanted to fulfill a number of clandestine aims. In Balochistan, people, openly, began to blame Pakistan’s intelligence agencies for the abduction and killing of these leaders. This is what the external plotters intended to achieve. Another aim was to gain the sympathies of general masses for Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) which has been fighting for secession of the province with the logistic support of RAW. One of the major purposes of this agency was not only to create a rift between the center and Balochistan, but also to give a greater impetus to the people of the province so as to intensify their separatist activities through acts of sabotage against the federation and Punjabis.
Besides, another CIA and Indian-supported separatist group, Jundollah (God’s soldiers) is also working against the cordial relationship of Pakistan with China and Iran.
It is pertinent to note that Balochistan is replete with mineral resources. Its ideal geo-strategic location with Gwadar Deep Seaport alone could prove to be Pakistan’s key junction, linking the rest of the world with Central Asia.
However, besides separation of East Pakistan and perennial wave of suicide attacks in other regions, the largest province of Balochistan has become center of Indian intrigue. To avoid further disintegration, our politicians, armed forces and the general masses need a strong sense of unity in thwarting RAW’s sinister designs against the federation of Pakistan.
