On the auspicious day of Pakistan defense day, Captain Karnal Sher Khan who lost his live on July 5, 1999 during war against India at Kargil front was remembered in Swabi.
Brig. Syed Hussain Shah Abbas laid the floral wreath at graveyard of Captain Karnal Sher Khan. The Pakistan army contingent at the mausoleum presented presenting a guard of honor and paid their rich tributes to Sher Khan who awarded Nisah-e-Haider for rendering sacrifice of his live for cause of Pakistan.
On the other hand, Force Commander Gilgit Major General Muzamil Hussain laid the floral wreath at graveyard of Hawaldar Lalik Jan. On the occasion, he also handed over key of newly constructed house to family members of Lalik Jan on behalf of Pakistan army.
